§ Mr. Carter-Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what financial requests she has received from the Lancashire Education Committee on behalf of Division 22, which would have permitted it to start schemes of improvement or replacement of maintained primary and secondary schools for the years 1972–73 and 1973–74; what amounts were requested for each type of school; and what amounts she has now authorised it to spend on each type of school for each of the years concerned.
§ Mr. van StraubenzeeFor 1972–73 the authority proposed two primary projects costing about £150,000, which were approved. No secondary projects were proposed. For 1973–74 no primary or secondary projects were proposed.
