One local authority has had two projects for day nurseries accepted under the Urban Aid Programme and it is expected 296W that building work on the first of these will start in March, 1972.
All county councils and county borough councils, except Merthyr Tydfil, have private day nurseries, play groups or child minders registered in their areas.
