§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will place in the Library a list of the criteria upon which agreement can be sought by his Department with the pharmaceutical industry for the sales promotion expenditure permissible for drugs used in the National Health Service.
§ Sir K. JosephThe present voluntary Price Regulation Scheme provides for an interim review of its general operation and consideration of criteria for sales promotion and profitability. Discussions on these questions are taking place with the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry and I would prefer to await their outcome.
