§ Mr. G. Johnson SmithSuch instructions are already in force in regard to all vehicles fitted with safety harness; in some classes of vehicle, such as tanks, such equipment is not appropriate. No special devices are fitted to prevent passengers from being thrown out from the backs of open vehicles, but there are particular instructions for the safety of such passengers and accidents of this kind are in fact rare.
