§ Mr. Dudley SmithNot all redundancies are notified to my Department, and it is not the practice to keep records of every minor redundancy. However, our records show that redundancies involving some 14,960 workpeople were declared by employers in South Wales during the period 1st October, 1970 to 31st October, 1971.
