§ Mr. Dudley SmithThe count made on 11th October of the total numbers of people registered as unemployed in Great Britain included 4,215 temporarily stopped workers who last worked in the textiles industries (Order XIII of the Standard Industrial Classification). Of these, 2,015 last worked in the woollen and worsted industry (minimum list heading 414).
