asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the current rate of growth in the United Kingdom economy compared with the latest estimate for each of the Common Market countries.

Domestic output in the United Kingdom is expected to increase by 4–4½ per cent. between the first halves of 1971 and 1972. The latest figures for G.N.P. at constant market prices—percentage changes on previous year—are:
