§ 49. Mr. Ronald Bellasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will issue a general direction to the British Airports Authority to prohibit short round-trip pleasure flights from its airports on Sundays.
§ Mr. Anthony GrantOnly three further flights are planned for this year. They will result in only a very small addition to the total disturbance and I do not feel justified in seeking to stop them. But I know there is some public feeling on this issue and I intend, therefore, to discuss with the organisers whether they propose to continue to seek such flights in future.
