§ Mr. Goldingasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many appeals have been registered against the disallowance of attendance allowance; and how many of these have been successful.
§ Mr. Dean:Up to 9th November nearly 6,000 claimants had applied to the Attendance Allowance Board to have the original determination of their claim 281W reviewed. Of the 3,500 applications dealt with, 3,070 had resulted in a review in the applicant's favour.
