§ Mr. Tebbitasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the setting up of an action group on his initiative announced at the recent conference of London housing authorities.
§ Mr. AmeryI have now appointed the members of this group under the chairmanship of my hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State. The terms of reference and details of membership are given below. The first meeting of the group took place today. Further meetings of the group will be held at regular intervals.
Terms of Reference:
To review regularly and at frequent intervals the progress of the drive to eliminate the London housing shortage and to take any action necessary to keep up its momentum.Membership of the Action Group:
