§ Mr. Hastingsasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a further statement on the current position with regard to the further development of Luton Airport.
§ Mr. Anthony GrantI understand that Luton Corporation submitted a planning application in August this year for extending the airport terminal building and improving the runway and taxiways. A public inquiry is to be held and will start on 4th January next year.
