§ Mr. Gwynoro Jonesasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will state the amount of grant provided for the Home Safety Council in Great Britain; and how much is provided for the Council to carry on its work in Scotland and Wales.
§ Mr. SharplesThe grant towards the cost of the home safety activities undertaken by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents is at present £13,000 a year. None of this grant is earmarked for any particular country. The Scottish Home and Health Department makes a separate annual grant of £3,000 towards the cost of providing a home safety organiser of the society in Scotland.
