§ Mr. BryanNot all redundancies are notified to my Department, and it is not the practice to keep records of every minor redundancy. However, our records show that redundancies involving about 14,800 people were declared in manufacturing industry in Wales in the period 1st January to 31st October, 1971, as compared with about 6,400 in the corresponding period in 1970.
