Mr. Spearing

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) if she will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table showing the current scale of direct grants available to direct grant schools, the date of introduction of the amounts on this scale and for each category of pupil the total grants made in the last financial year together with the total of any other grants made;

(2) what is the financial contribution made by her Department in the last financial year to the fees of fee-paying pupils
