HC Deb 04 November 1971 vol 825 c5W
Rear-Admiral Morgan-Giles

asked the Minister of State for Defence when he expects to make his decision about the proposed open space at Worthy Down, near Winchester, which has been requested from his Department by the Wonston Parish Council.

Mr. G. Johnson Smith:

Some Ministry of Defence land at Worthy Down is likely to be available for disposal soon. If it is not required by another Government Department, it will be offered to the Hampshire County Council and Winchester Rural District Council. Wonston Parish Council has already been advised to make its requirements known to the county council.
