§ Mr. Rankinasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will inquire into the reasons which are preventing major international firms from investing in Scotland.
§ Sir J. EdenI do not think that an inquiry on these lines is necessary. Major international firms are aware of the advantages of investment in Scotland and the other development areas and that the Government welcome it.
