§ Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, in view of the fact that trained nurses within the National Health Service are being offered 157W salaries of at least £3,700 per annum for a five-day week, with double pay on public holidays, by representatives from United States hospitals, he will take steps to review the salaries of nurses with a view to discouraging a loss of nurses from the National Health Service to the United States of America.
