Mr. Edward TaylorIn January, 1971, there were two nursery schools and one nursery class attached to a primary school in Lanarkshire. No nursery school is under construction but approval has been given for the payment of grant under the urban programme of 75 per cent. of the cost of providing 140 new places in nursery schools and classes. I would welcome any further proposals but it is for the education authority to assess the needs of the county.
