§ Mr. Kinnockasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will institute an inquiry into the death rate in Wales with special reference to the valleys of East Glamorgan and West Monmouthshire.
§ Mr. Gibson-WattMy right hon. and learned Friend is aware of the higher than average death rate for certain conditions particularly in industrial South Wales. Studies of particular problems are proceeding and he is awaiting their findings.
