§ Sir K. JosephThe present regional structure was formed in June, 1967. The following table shows the numbers of unemployment review officers in post at 1st July, 1967, and at 1st May each year from 1968 to 1971. In West Midlands Region each supplementary benefits local office undertake the work of unemployment review for its own area and specialist unemployment review officers are not appointed.
