No, but I made a full statement to the House yesterday.

Q17. Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Prime Minister whether, during his recent discussions with President Pompidou, he raised the question of Great Britain's ability, once in the Common Market, to get her supplies from elsewhere and the effect of this on her trade with each of the Commonwealth countries; and what President Pompidou's attitude was to these matters.

The Prime Minister

I have nothing to add to the statement which I made yesterday.

Q21. Mr. Rankin

asked the Prime Minister whether he discussed the ways in which joining the Common Market will affect unemployment in Scotland when he met President Pompidou.

The Prime Minister

This matter was not discussed.

Mr. Skinner

asked the Prime Minister whether he will now make a statement on his official talks with President Pompidou on 20th–21st May in Paris.

The Prime Minister

I did so yesterday.
