asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he has reconsidered forestry policy in the light of increasing imports of wood and wood products; and if he will make a statement.

The factor to which my hon. Friend refers will be taken into account in the Government's review of forestry policy. I cannot yet say when it will be completed, but we shall announce our conclusions in due course
