§ Mr. KershawThe Beira Patrol is the instrument by which the United Kingdom carries out Security Council Resolution 221 of 9th April, 1966, which imposed legal obligations. As the House knows, we are exploring the possibilities of a just settlement of the Rhodesian problem and the Beira Patrol, like other aspects of sanctions, will be maintained meanwhile.
