§ Mr. LambtonFollowing the closure of Royal Air Force station Chivenor in 1972–73 there will be no military search and rescue helicopter service based in north Devon. The provision of search and rescue services for civilian purposes is not a matter for my Department, and the second part of the Question does not therefore arise.
