§ Mr. Staintonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in order to facilitate public discussion of the Green Paper, Value-Added Tax, Command Paper No. 4621, he will express in cash terms an estimate of the difference in yield per annum to the Exchequer by 139W the application of a zero rate and exemption in regard to food, respectively, assuming a value-added tax of 10 per cent. and 15 per cent.
