Mr. James Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what action he intends to take to meet the representations of the Church of Scotland, Hamilton Presbytery, for action to reduce unemployment, a copy of which has been sent to him by the Members of Parliament for Lanarkshire.
§ Mr. Anthony GrantMy hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State for Development, Scottish Office, is writing to the Presbytery of Hamilton and I will send a copy of that letter to the hon. Member as well as to other Members who have written to me on this matter.
