§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will introduce legislation to make it incumbent on supermarkets to provide cloakroom and locker facilities for their customers, in order to reduce the danger of people inadvertently putting merchandise in their own receptacles, rather than in the trolleys provided.
§ Mr. RidleyI think the decision whether to provide such facilities is best left to the commercial judgment of individual companies.
