§ Mr. AlisonNational figures for the cost of drugs prescribed for the treatment of schizophrenia are not available because of the very large numbers of different therapeutic régimes applied to the various diagnostic categories of this disease. Separate records of the total quantities of the drugs so prescribed are not maintained centrally. If the hon. Member would care to write to me I will be glad to examine the material he has obtained.
