HC Deb 10 May 1971 vol 817 c13W
Mr. Ted Fletcher

asked the Secretary for State for Trade and Industry what proposals he has for re-locating Government offices in the North East to alleviate the problem of rising unemployment in the region.

Mr. David Howell

I have been asked to reply.

I would refer the hon. Member to my answer to the hon. Member for Chester-le-Street (Mr. Pentland) on 22nd February. The review is under way, but it is too early to say which areas will be chosen for any dispersal resulting from it.—[Vol. 812, c. 47–8.]
