Mr. Thomas Cox

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the number of men over the age of 50 years, at present registered as unemployed, in each of the regions of the United Kingdom, and the numbers who have been unemployed for between one to four weeks, four to six weeks, six to eight weeks, eight to 12 weeks, 12 to 26 weeks, and over 26 weeks, respectively.

The numbers registered as wholly unemployed are analysed by age in January and July each year.
