§ 45. Mr. Deakinsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what steps she is taking to ensure that capital spending on schools in the London Borough of Waltham Forest takes into account the need to improve educational facilities in the borough.
Mr. van StranbenzeeThe major building programme for 1972–73 includes four primary school improvement projects providing 1,040 places at a cost of £330,000. About 250 additional nursery places in Waltham Forest have so far been approved under the Urban Programme.
