§ 61. Mr. Edelmanasked the Minister of State for Defence whether, in view of his decision to close the Royal Naval Stores Depot, Coventry, by 1973, he will now state his future plans for these premises; and whether it is Her Majesty's Government's intentions to lease or sell the premises after the closure, or to seek to dispose of them before the closure so that the depot may be maintained in continuous being as a source of employment.
§ Mr. KirkPlans for the disposal of the Royal Naval Stores Depot, Coventry have not yet been finalised.
If not required for any alternative Ministry of Defence or other Governments Department's purpose, efforts will be made to dispose of the property before closure.
