§ 50. Mr. Nicholas Edwardsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science in view of the inadequacy of the existing buildings of the Neyland Technical College and of the need for agreement to be reached between her Department and the local education authority on the future development of the college, whether she will take steps to expedite a decision on this matter.
§ Mr. van StraubenzeeThe Authority want to move their Technical College from Neyland to Haverfordwest, but have been told this could only be considered if the premises at Neyland can be put to other educational use. As the hon. Member knows, two Church Authorities have expressed interest in using Neyland premises for an interdenominational school, and the Welsh Education Office are awaiting their considered views.
