§ 40. Mr. Iremongerasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what special provision she intends to make for grants to students studying medicine, to take account of the increased cost of stethoscopes and skeletons since 1962, the 18 weeks extra study each year and the two or three extra years of study required of medical as compared with other students and the fact that they are subjected to the parental means test later than other students.
