Secretary of State for the Home Department whether his Department has yet studied the investigations of the United States of America Federal Trade Commission and the National Food and Drug Commission into skin complaints which might be attributable to enzyme washing powders, details of which are in his possession; when his own medical advisers will report 399W on their findings; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. SharplesI understand that the results of these investigations in the U.S.A. have not yet been published. My right hon. Friend expects to receive the report of his own medical advisers very shortly.
