HC Deb 04 May 1971 vol 816 cc314-5W
Mr. Molyneaux

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is his estimate of the effect of the 1971 Price Review on the agricultural industry in Northern Ireland.

Mr. Anthony Stodart

The determinations for 1971–72 should be generally helpful to Northern Ireland farmers and give them considerable opportunities for expansion. In particular, the increased prices for livestock and livestock products and the higher rates under the Brucellosis Incentives Scheme should benefit them substantially.
