§ Mr. RipponOn 22nd April I attended a lunch with the Council of the British Electrical and Allied Manufacturers Association and, in the evening, a reception given by the Polish Ambassador. On 23rd April I had meetings with Mr. McNamara, President of the World Bank, with Mr. Kirk, Leader of the Opposition in the New Zealand Parliament, and attended, the New Zealand High Commissioner's lunch for the new Zealand Prime Minister.
