Mr. Ronald Brownasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the estimated superficial area of office building remaining empty up to and including 31st December, 1970, in the areas covered by the City of London, 380W City of Westminster, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the London Boroughs of Camden, Hackney, Islington, Lambeth, Southwark, and Tower Hamlets, respectively; and if he will list them in the OFFICIAL REPORT, together with the rateable value and the actual rates collected on the empty office buildings in 1970.
§ Mr. Graham PageMy Department does not have this information. When it is required for any specific purpose it is obtained from the local authorities concerned. The hon. Member could adopt the same course.
