Mr. Muddasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the arrival in Jersey of a Member of the Rhodesian Parliament, Mr. Andre Holland, in view of the fact that he was on a mission to London concerning the Unilateral Declaration of Independence; and if he will explain the current policy of Her Majesty's Government regarding the recognition and reception in the United Kingdom of Rhodesian emissaries.
§ Mr. KershawThe circumstances in which Mr. Holland was refused entry to Jersey are a matter for the Jersey authorities. He was not on an official mission The need for a policy on Rhodesian emissaries has not arisen since no such emissaries have been sent.
