67. Mr. W. T. Williamsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, with regard to the Agreement on Financial Assistance dated 21st September, 1964, Command Pape No. 3111, made between the Government of Malta and Her Majesty's Government, in which it is stated that Her Majesty's Government will make available to Malta a further £3 million after March, 1974, whether the said £3 million will be made available by way of grant or loan.
§ Mr. WoodI assume that the hon. and learned Member is referring to the £3 million which will be made available, not under the 1964 Agreement, but as special assistance promised in 1968 in relation to the Malta Dockyard. Seventy-five per cent. is to be provided by way of grant and 25 per cent. as loan.
