§ 76. Mr. Muddasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if, as the implementation of much of the Immigration Bill will become a police responsibility, he proposes to hold consultations with the police service at an early date.
§ Mr. MaudlingThere has been some exaggeration of the increase in police responsibilities which the Bill would involve. I shall continue to be in touch with chief officers of police.
