§ Mr. Juddasked the Minister of State for Defence whether he will make a statement on the talks in London between his Department and the South African Arms Purchasing Mission.
§ Lord BalnielOur understanding is that the intention of the South African Evaluation Team at present visiting Europe is to recommend the appointment of consultants on maritime defence equipment. They are having discussions with my Department which has much experience in this field.
