§ Mr. NobleNo. Approach angles greater than three degrees lead to handling difficulties with modern aircraft and I am satisfied that no departure should be made from the recommendation of the International Civil Aviation Organisation that glide paths should not be in excess of three degrees except where it would otherwise be impracticable to meet obstruction clearance limits.
