§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will introduce legislation to establish a national antiquities service, responsible for the continuing compilation of a comprehensive national register of field antiquities, such a service to have the right to excavate any important find or site where known or newly discovered, and to postpone any property development involved where necessary.
