§ Mr. GodberStudies are being made of the feasibility of installing a computer to deal with part of the Department's communications network, Diplomatic Service officers' records, indexing methods, the dissemination and retrieval of information, and part of the work of the Passport Office.

§ Mr. GodberThere are at present no computers in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The studies which are being made of their possible application will cover the question of the confidentiality of personal information which might be stored on them.
