HL Deb 18 March 1971 vol 316 c638WA
LORD INGLEWOOD

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, in view of the postal strike, they will extend the period during which objections may be made against any part of their proposals to "improve" the A.66 road, as published on December 18, 1970, and will give information through the local press and T.V. as a matter of urgency where such objections may be lodged locally.

LORD MOWBRAY AND STOURTON

The period has been extended to April 30, 1971. Notices to this effect appeared in theLondon Gazette on March 12, and local newspapers on March 12 and 13. T.V. advertising is less suitable, and will not be used.
