asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will give the percentage of males, females, boys and girls, respectively, who were at the latest available date registered as unemployed at the Mexborough and Wombwell employment exchanges.

At 8th March the provisional percentage rates of unemployment in the Mexborough and Goldthorpe travel-to-work area were 6.3 for males and 3.1 for females. The corresponding figures for the Barnsley, Hoyland, Royston and Wombwell travel-to-work area were 7.1 and 2.6. Rates cannot be calculated for parts of travel-to-work areas or separately for boys and girls.
