asked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) what was the total number of boys and girls under the age of 18 years of age unemployed on Tyneside at the latest available date; and what were the comparable figures for 1969 and 1970;

(2) what was the total number of boys and girls under the age of 18 years of age unemployed in the north-east of England at the latest available date; and what were the comparable figures for 1969 and 1970;

(3) what was the total number of boys and girls under the age of 18 years of age unemployed in Gateshead at the latest available date; and what were the comparable figures for 1969 and 1970.
