asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is satisfied that the training arrangements for fishermen in the North-East of Scotland are adequate; and if he will make a statement.

The proposals for the main Scottish centre, which Aberdeen Education Authority is formulating and which will require my right hon. Friend's approval, should when implemented significantly extend the present provision for further education and training of fishermen in the North-East.
