asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he is yet able to announce the names of the chairmen and members of the Central Lancashire New Town Development Corporation.

Sir Frank Pearson, the former Member of this House for the Clitheroe Division, has been appointed Chairman of the new Corporation. I am sure this appointment will be widely welcomed in the locality. My right hon. Friend the Minister for Housing and Construction will announce the names of other members in due course.
